Delightful brunch cocktails (Cargot Fixe and Pample Juice are superb) and delicious freshly prepared brunch selections make Cargot a warm weather favorite. Looking forward to Autumn selections.
Patio area is excellent with a nice ambience. However, the cheese and meat platter contains a pathetic amount of cheese in my opinion. Drinks are good though. Main meal (NYC strip) minimally seasoned, perhaps the head chef was off duty. Prefer the Dinky
Wish I had taken a picture! The food tasted as good as it looked! My friend has to eat gluten free and we were thrilled at how good their bread made with cheese, French onion soup, and killer chocolate souffle tasted. It sure didn't taste gluten free - it tasted decadent! Hope to eat here again soon! The outdoor seating was beautiful and the staff attentive, kind, and extremely professional.
Went with my office colleagues. Beautiful decor and impeccable service. The food was delicious. The only drawback was the limited choice of vegetarian food on the menu. Overall, an amazing experience!!!
One of the best dining experiences in Princeton, I think. It was an easy, relaxing yet sophisticated and delicious time out with friends. My steak and my friend's duck were wonderful and we all fell in love with the gougres. The chocolate cake dessert was a truly amazing tapestry of flavors and textures that would sound too busy in complete description, but they all amounted to a sum greater than their parts. It was thoughtful and very well executed, with much more attention than is generally paid to this final course.
