TERRIBLE FOR TENTING! Campground is right off the highway, so there's loud traffic all night. But even more unfortunate are the many streetlights in the campground, making the place as bright as day all night long. Maybe a nice place for RVers but I'd never stay here again in a tent. We were trying to break up the trip for our 6 year old but I'd drive straight through to the coast next time rather than stay here.
Great roadside campsite on the rivers edge. Water & electricity at each site with a dump station at check in office. The have a hand cart portable transfer tank to take grey water to sani-dump.Dishwashing station as well for the tenters.Clean bathrooms and showers. (Slower) free wifi. Overall very pleasant stay. We will return. Golf course opposite from campsite so bring your clubs.* there is noise from nearby highway traffic, but it did not bother us. Very friendly hosts.
Nice place no Sani Hook up. They have funny and confusing rules for weekend stays. They have empty spots but they won't book you in les than 2 days for the weekend. Strange too much red tape. But inexpensive. Managers are very nice .
Love this place! Right on the river's edge for cool dips in the hot summer. The managers are friendly and helpful. There is water and electricity at each site and a central dump station. It can sometimes get a tad noisy with traffic, but we don't really notice it too much. We've stayed here several times and will continue to do so.
Nice place to camp, the river was a welcome respite from the heat. Camping fee was reasonable for riverside spot with water and 30 amp service. Free sani-dump for people staying there. Facilities were clean and well kept for a dated building. I will be back
